Damian Platt

As a creative, it’s imperative that you stay true to yourself and never limit yourself in whatever you do. 22-year-old Damian Platt out of Kansas City, Kansas has placed a substantial foot in the doors of Merchandise design, Music production, Studio engineering, and Graphic design. Growing up, Damian was raised in a relatively creative space where he was allowed to dabble in a number of different mediums. Doodling on walls as a kid, Damian says what sparked his interest would have to be art history. Seeing how artists were able to gain influence and prestige due to the strength of their abilities in times without internet/social media or constant politicking spoke to him. Although Damian tends to block out the negatives, he’s still been faced with them; lack of budget, energy, and space have all taken their toll on his work but of course, he’s refused to let that knock his hustle. When it comes to the culture of his city, Platt believes there’s a lack of it in certain aspects. He says his generation is too distant and playing social keep away, that there’s a load of talent and potential stars yet pride and other egotistical problems keep creators from working with one another. Being able to perform in various creative outlets, he utilizes Photoshop CC 2020, FL Studio, Logic Pro x, Pro Tools, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere at peak proficiency. Platt has been blessed to brush shoulders with many successful people in their respective mediums; he’s a man motivated by results and the potential to be in a position to grow. As far as what the future holds, Damian Platt wishes to be wealthy, and beyond that even; he doesn’t care what’s said about him as long as his greatness isn’t suppressed nor denied. “I’d rather be hated and alive than loved and dead.” Expect to hear more from him. Always move #CloserToYourDreams
